The free LGBTQIA+ Pride event has become one of the biggest annual events on the Lincolnshire coast, with around 6,800 people attending East Coast Pride in 2025.

For 2026, visitors can expect another packed programme, including RuPaul's Drag Race UK finalist Michael Marouli, headline act Re-Take That, the Pride Park Main Stage, a Pride Market, Butlin's Family Entertainment Area and a brand-new Fun Zone for younger visitors.

Michael Marouli coming to East Coast Pride 2026

One of the headline announcements ahead of this year's Skegness Pride event is the addition of Michael Marouli.

The Geordie drag performer became nationally known after reaching the final of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and is due to appear on the East Coast Pride stage at 5:30pm.

Michael Marouli will be followed by Re-Take That, a Take That tribute act who are scheduled to close the main stage from 6:15pm.

East Coast Pride's Got Talent winners join the line-up

East Coast Pride's Got Talent returned to The Suncastle in Skegness in July, with performers competing for the opportunity to appear on the main stage at East Coast Pride 2026.

DeDe was crowned the junior winner and will perform at 12:25pm, while senior winner Veon Brat takes to the stage at 2:25pm.

The competition was held on 20 July and featured performers from across Lincolnshire.

Family activities at East Coast Pride

East Coast Pride isn't only about the main stage. The event is designed as a free, family-friendly celebration, with a dedicated Butlin's Family Entertainment Area returning for 2026.

Butlin's Redcoats will be in Tower Gardens throughout the day, with activities including:

New East Coast Pride Fun Zone for 2026

Families visiting East Coast Pride in Skegness will also find a new attraction for 2026.

A dedicated Fun Zone is being introduced at the southern end of Tower Gardens, aimed particularly at younger children.

The area is expected to include a tea cup ride, paratrooper ride, trampolines, bouncy castles and inflatables alongside traditional side stalls such as hook a duck.

The Fun Zone will operate alongside the main Pride celebrations throughout the day.

Visitors can also explore the Pride Market, bringing together community organisations, charities, advocacy groups, social clubs, inclusive sports organisations and independent traders.

Organisations confirmed for the 2026 marketplace include the National Trust Lincolnshire Coast, YMCA Lincolnshire, Dogs Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Cats Protection, Beach Ability Lincolnshire and GLiSH, alongside a range of other organisations and traders.

There will also be a dedicated Blue Light Services area.

Food vendors will be available around the event, while licensed bars are being introduced across the East Coast Pride site for 2026.

Visitors can bring their own food and soft drinks into Tower Gardens.
